My name is Ayelén, or “Ashelen”, for easier pronounciation.

I am a health and fitness enthusiast from Argentina, currently on the way to becoming a Certified Personal Trainer later this year.

I wasn’t always into fitness though, and this is still a relatively new lifestyle for me, as I used to exercise no more than a few weeks every year. But after gaining a significant amount of weight during the lockdown and being horrified when I noticed my clothes didn’t fit me anymore, I decided it was time for a change.

My weight loss journey started in December 2021, making some big changes on my diet which resulted also in a much better overall health. But not only was I eating better, I started working out regularly until I finally made it a habit. I lost 25lbs since I started and now I’m the slimmest, strongest I’ve ever been.

There was only one thing keeping from getting to this point for so many years, and that’s learning to keep consistency. Consistency with working out, with eating healthy. For some people this can be really difficult to achieve.

Now that fitness is an important part of my life and makes me feel happier and healthier, I decided to become a personal trainer to help others who also have a hard time achieving their goals. And I created this site, Fit Life Girl, to offer advice on topics related to weight loss, working out and developing healthy habits. I hope you’ll find something useful for you.
